My role in the project

As a co-proposer and principal scientist, I lead efforts at OFFIS and supervise the researchers working on this project. Together with the partners Tampere University and CEA, I develop the competition on human-robot collaboration in agile manufacturing.

Executive Summary

The METRICS project is a coordination and support action to fund the creation of robotics competitions in each of the focus areas of the EU: Agile Manufacturing, Healthcare, Inspection and Maintenance, as well as Agri-Food. The METRICS project proposes an overall metrological approach, with specializations in each of the focus areas. The project is linked to all existing EU Robotics Digital Innovation Hubs.
