My role in the project

I work on markerless full-body human motion tracking and localization in industrial environments and activity recognition for human-robot collaboration.

I co-supervise a small number of doctoral students in the area of robotics and perception. I also develop new projects and contribute to the strategic development of the OFFIS institute in this area.

As a group leader for Smart Human Robot Collaboration, I also lead three other focus projects within IKIMUNI:

  • AdaMOS - Adaptive and modular skills for collaborative robotics
  • Human machine interaction in Industry 4.0 - Visually supported programming of networked machines in Virtual Reality
  • Human machine interaction in Industry 4.0 - Attention guiding and overview visualisation in cyber-phsical environments

Executive Summary

IKIMUNI is a large 3-year R&D project. The main goal to support smaller and medium enterprises in their transition to Industry 4.0. OFFIS will offer ICT knowledge as well as tools and methods for the integration and test when companies digitize their products and production.
